Denmark friendly
In trueViking spirit we travel to Denmark for a friendly pillage before the season. Rust and smelly old equipment are aired for the first time in a real battle situation.
The Knights are amongst the top 2 teams in Denmark that will compete for a spot in the Mermaid bowl and gave the Vikings a good game to iron out pre season problems on both sides of the ball.
The bus was delayed down to Denmark and the team did not get in until an hour before kick off. Not ideal but so I goes sometimes.
The game was an opportunity for a lot of our young and not so experienced players to get in some playing time.
The game ended with a comfortable win for the Vikings and a solid report from the coaching staff on were to improve our game.
